Just arrived in DC and already found a professional, highly competent cobbler for my leather shoes. I requested a rubber half-sole and heel block replacement. The service was quick and the workmanship looks top-notch. However, the prices are a bit steep. It was around $95 for my repair, which is definitely on the higher end. Worth considering if you’re looking for reliable shoe repair in the area. Overall, recommend!
Bought a vintage Coach bag that was a bit of a fixer-upper. The leather on the handle was tearing off. There were also some scratches and discoloration from daily use on the outside as well. I requested them to fix the handle which they did a great job at for $42.50, and as a nice surprise they cleaned and fixed the outside leather. As a nice touch, they gave me a zipper tag which I was initially missing.
Back in either 2018 or 2019, this place repaired one of my dress shoes that had fallen apart. Now it is 2025, either six or seven years later, and that pair of shoes is still intact even though I wear them all the time. They did a fantastic job!
