CHAW has been a cornerstone of the Capitol Hill neighborhood since before I was a kid in the 80’s. Went here for tumbling, art, music, and theater classes in my pre-teen years. The teachers here are top notch and are a part of the community as well. My tumbling teacher also taught where I went to Jr/Sr High School in upper NW.

I have absolutely loved the adult dance classes offered at CHAW. They are pure fun- you learn a ton but the instructors keep it light and enjoyable so that you are learning and having fun at the same time. You don't feel stressed or put down if you don't get it right- just encouraged to learn and enjoy. Everyone is so friendly and helpful at CHAW! It's a bright spot in the DC community!
