I've been seeing Harold for over 7 years and followed him from Bang Chinatown—and for good reason! His skill, consistency, and care are unmatched. Whether it’s a simple trim and fade or a major color design, I always leave feeling confident and cared for. Truly the best!
If you have curly hair, go to Andrew! He gave me the haircut I’ve been looking for from stylists for years and was super meticulous. Each step of the way, he listened to exactly what I want and made sure I was happy.
I will say, I was disappointed that my hair didn’t get styled - I was told I should’ve booked the haircut with extra time, which I think needs to be more clearly communicated prior to booking. The booking options suggest that haircut for extremely textured thick long hair. While I do have thick curly hair, it’s nothing crazy (3a and not long). I have now gotten my hair done at Bang Salon in Navy Yard twice by Sophie. She is amazing the first time I got a cut, and the second time I went in for highlights. I had been growing out my blonde for almost a year and decided to go in for a more natural, but still bright blonde highlight/balayage combo. I got highlights and lowlights, and my hair looks amazing I keep getting compliments everywhere! Sophie really took the time to listen to what I wanted and provide constructive feedback before diving in. She is super sweet, a little boho, and amazing at what she does!
