Megan was super nice! A little behind on appointment time, but very accommodating and informational. I am happy with my first bikini wax, which did hurt, but I will be returning. She told me that I was doing good during my experience even though it didn't feel so great lol. I hate waxes.
Arte Nails Spa I took my daughter to get an acne facial with Megan. Megan charged me $60, and I wasn't allowed in to be with my child (she is 12years old). My daughter said the facial went well, however I noticed that Megan had extracted blemishes on both sides of her cheeks but not the front of her face where her blemishes were obvious. This confuses me. While my daughter was getting her facial I decided to get a Spa pedicure with an older lady who spoke very little English. I pointed to what I wanted on the menu. This lady did not apply any callus remover lotion to my feet prior to using the grater - she grated my skin off my feet bare - not even soap on my soles. She did not give me Purple Scrub Peppermint Foot Mask and she did not apply the hot towel. She used a minimal amount of oil to rub my feet, but charged me $60.00. When I asked her why she didn't give me what was advertised - she told me it was because I wanted gel. It is because of this, I will not return to this salon. I have had better service and better treatments at other places.
Megan, co-owner of the salon is fabulous! Her Arte Facial is one of the best that I've ever experienced. I'm a picky New Yorker transplant and so, I'm not easily impressed at all. She also delivers a stellar Brazilian wax treatment. Great personality and very professional.
