My family is currently having the worst experience with rehabilitation services offered through Amedysis. The communication between patients and therapist is very poor. We have had several scheduling conflicts with physical therapy, occupational therapy and they even cut our speech therapy visits w/o telling us. My loved one is recovering from a stroke and they have been more than inconsistent with her visits and have missed weeks without making them up — ultimately reducing the amount of time “insurance” has “approved” and/or will allow. Very disappointed in the level of care my love one is receiving and we have yet to have a formal evaluation of care/services.

The worst a health care menace - nationwide . I had a nurse come by my house once a week to draw blood and change the dressing on my pic line port which infused a daily antibiotic for 6 weeks after I almost died from a septic staph infection . On one visit she pulled ( by accident ) 8 inches of the infusion line out from the port before I had made the Daily infusion , she then kinked it under the bandage which prevented infusion .Then she just left and told me to go to ER . I spoke to my Doctor and he said it was not a problem and to unkink the line and just have 8 more inches outside my chest .
