“Started going to Sal's about 4 years ago.
I had been searching for a classic style barber for quite awhile when mine retired after 50 years. He was my first barber, now what?
Well the first time I walked in to Sal's even the customers "Hello Cousin" they were talking to me! Off to a good start then I heard Ed turn off the electric clippers and saw him spend 15 min styling and cutting hair with scissors, imagine that ? That was it for me, along with a lot of, yes Sir, no problem sir, all sharp again! With Lucky Tiger and Clubman Hair Tonic. Some Frank Sinatra and Classic Rock not to mention Service members and first responders coming and going. Well it looks like I'll be driving from Hamden to say "Hello Cousin" for some years to come.
