I am a member of the Elmwood Cemetery Committee in East Granby, CT. I live in Windsor, CT. I removed an air conditioner that someone had dumped in the cemetery. I took the air conditioner to my home town Windsor/Bloomfield Landfill so I could properly dispose of it. Great place for a total dump. Dumping mattresses and metals are free. You can dump brush, leaves, demolitions excesses like concrete and asphalt, electronics, old TV's, printers, and refrigerators, for a fee. Really cheap too, if you're considering renting a U-Haul for a partial home clean out. You'd pay a third of what it cost to rent a dumpster than to do it this way.
I found this place by disposing paint cans. When I looked around I saw that I could bring much more then paint cans, I made multiple trips to free myself of all my trash, most of it in piles at no charge to me. Refrigerator items are @ $15 a piece and that’s not a bad deal considering it has dangerous substance in it. And paying for what is not recycleable @ $170/ton that’s a great deal. So I paid maybe $30 to get rid of lots of head aches. The people are awesome. Other postings which had bad reviews about their service are just spoiled babies and can’t think on their own. Grow a brain. I think this place is awesome.
