“I’ve been looking for a legit barber near me for a while now and after trying several places I was ready to give up, but for some reason I gave it one last Google search … “haircut” yielded a result I hadn’t seen before, but I saw Sola Salon and was confused bc I knew that place and didn’t know there was a barber there.
I was able to schedule a same day appointment through an app that was easy to download and use on the spot.
I walked into a small space and was greeted by James who has a fantastic beard and I knew I was in the right place. He asked what I wanted and I told him “a trim” but he looked like he knew was he was doing so I gave him creative control. He told me we had to go shorter than I wanted bc the last cut was so bad (not surprised).
Even though we had just met I felt like I’d been sitting in that chair for years. It was efficient without feeling rushed and even though there were people waiting he still took his time to get to know me.
After one cut and a little beard cleanup I already know I’m going to be a regular.“
