I spent 2 weeks in the hospital recovering from a burst appendix from June 14th through June 28th 2024. I haven't been to Windham Hospital in many years and many years ago, it didn't have a great reputation. On that day, June 14th, I was in horrible pain and I knew I couldn't make it to another hospital so I had to risk Windham, at least that was what I thought. I had such great care, such empathy for my illness by everyone who cared for me. From Dashawn (sp?) who cleaned my room to every nurse especially Amanda who kept me on track to walk daily to Dr Myers and Dr McCallum and their fine care.
