Late last year, my father passed away. We came to D'Esopo Funeral Chapel and from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed.David Bonola, one of the funeral directors, walked us through planning the services. We had some specific needs given our family's religion, so we had to collaborate with people from a local temple to make sure everything aligned with the religion's practices.David was incredibly respectful through the entire process and accommodated all of our needs. During my difficult time of saying goodbye to my only son, the staff were very understanding and made everything easy for a grieving parent and family member. I greatly appreciate everything that was done. I would recommend this service to others. Thank you so much.

Building off our storied reputation of excellence and quality service, the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel in Wethersfield serves families in South Hartford, Wethersfield, Rocky Hill, Newington and the surrounding areas.After residing in Hartford for decades, the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel moved to its present location in Wethersfield in 1978. Our chapel and arrangement center are both located on our 4-acre property, which backs up to rolling farmland. With a small stream and plenty of vegetation, our location is home to many birds, deer and other wildlife, creating a peaceful, calming atmosphere.
