Let me tell you something. I walked into She Skin and Body in North Haven carrying years of shame in my body. As a woman with Hidradenitis Suppurativa, showing my underarms to anyone... let alone asking for a wax — felt like exposing the most tender part of me. I was nervous. But Rashia held space for me like she already understood.
She talked me through every single step, gentle and unhurried. When I say... I have not had smooth underarms like this since I was a teenager. I'm sitting here floored, running my fingers over skin that feels brand new... skin I'd given up on.

Shia provided the best experience possible! She was thorough, friendly, and compassionate. The atmosphere in her studio was relaxing, so there was no stress during the appointment. She Skin & Body is definitely the way to go!
10/10 would recommend. Shia's amazing. Got my first Brazilian wax with her and it was such a good experience. She's experienced, professional, and extremely friendly. You can tell she puts a lot of effort into making sure her clients feel comfortable and confident.
