For instance, one customer highlighted how the owners reopened the store after hours to retrieve a forgotten bag, demonstrating genuine kindness. The salon is also appreciated for its cleanliness and quality of work, making it one of the best places in Connecticut for eyebrow and lip threading. First-time clients enjoyed their experience with eyelash extensions, loving both the procedure and the final look. While some caution is advised for certain treatments like face waxing—especially for men—overall, the consistently excellent service and easy online appointment system make GBS Threading and Spa a preferred choice for many customers.
If I could rate more than five stars I would!!! Not only do my brows look great, but the owners went above and beyond for me. I left my bag in their store, and even though they’d been closed for an hour and a half, they made sure that the store got opened so I could get my bag back on a Saturday night. Not to mention, the service during my threading was wonderful to begin with. The woman helping me was very kind and made sure every single stray hair was gone. Thanks GBS!
Edit: I tried to give an additional tip for reopening the store and they refused. Just incredibly kind people!!!
Very professional & clean service! One of the best places to get eyebrows & lips done in Connecticut. I moved out from Storrs and still come here. :)Services: Eyebrow threading
Giving a 5 star review because they informed me correctly that this wouldn't work and I insisted so anything that happens isn't their fault.I wanted to get my face waxed as a guy, I was warned this wouldn't work well but I insisted on trying.I'll listen next time, I thought it would just hurt, but that's not the whole problem it was unsuccessful. I got maybe 80% of my hair so the rest is in patches so I still need to shave. The parts they did get bled and my skin was super irritated and covered in scabs for about a week. Afterwards it looks good once it's shaved which is much easier with so much less hair. ?
