We had a brief encounter with Mystic River Cruises on Sunday. We were stuck between bridges with heavier than usual traffic due to train issues. With zero obligation, the captain rapidly made eye contact, clearly communicated & backed down allowing us to easily pass and clear the congested area. We need to be moving to maintain steerage and were trying to avoid the the crowd of boats squeezing in to queue for the bridge. I appreciated the courteous and professional manner in which he handled his charter. I would not hesitate to recommend Mystic River Cruises as a safe and professional charter.

This review is exactly one year overdue! On May 15, 2022, it was a beautiful afternoon for a river cruise. Weather was perfect and water was calm! Our cruise was with Mystic River Cruises on a 1947 wooden motorboat. Captain Erick was great and only does private tours for a maximum of 6 people. On our cruise we sailed near six islands. We brought snacks and munched away while we took in the scenery and information about the area. I highly recommend this cruise if you’re ever in Mystic.
