Last month I needed to find an eye Dr for my 8 year old son and I decided on going with Accu Vision Center in Southington due to good reviews and they were a top selector for our VSP eye care insurance! We were able to get an appt that fit our schedule fairly quickly and the lady who answered the phone was beyond helpful and polite! When we arrived to our appt we were seen right away no more than a 2 minute wait time while she checked us in! Dr McAvoy was wonderful. When we looked at glasses the staff was not pushy at all! The staff there is fantastic, the selection of frames are huge, and the examination equipment is state of the art. I have been there for the past 30+ years and I would not trust anyone else with my eyes. They are really the best in town and anywhere in the area. They know you and make you feel like family there. They have my 100% trust.
The fastest eye exam I have ever had! I was out the door with my new glasses ordered in under 45 minutes. I would suggest signing up for vision insurance if you can. I paid next to nothing for the exam and basic frames with prescription!
