I typically just use Turbotax for my taxes and my partner's taxes if it's a simple tax year, but a few years ago I had ridiculously complicated taxes to correct and file from being incorrectly paid as an independent contractor instead of as an employee (long story short: I was young and naive with a terrible boss who tried to skip paying for my taxes; it was kind of a mess). I've been working with Steve for over a decade now and can't recommend him highly enough. I'm probably a trying client for he and his staff, but they deal with me with grace. I'm self employed and not very good at dealing with all the tax issues that Steve excels at. The primary reason that I started working with him was that I liked his personality and felt he's someone I could have confidence in. That perception was unquestionably true as I have complete faith in him.
