Original: I have been going to this salon for years, it was amazing in the beginning, great nail technicians. I was recommended by a friend to come here. I recently went for a gel manicure and hate to say that I was disappointed. I didn’t think much of it while there, because I trusted the nail technician- she used a nail file on my nails after my nails were done/top coat was already applied- to file around my nail area/skin. When she did this, I noticed in better light that there are scratches from the nail file all over my nails, especially on the sides of multiple nails. I have been here several times but my last pedicure was not very good. Got shortchanged on the massage (she added the lavender scrub into the time of the lotion massage when it should not have been). Didn’t spend a lot of time on my heels. Didn’t color ends of nails so white of nails showing. And leg massage was not consistent - deep in some areas, wimpy in others. The girl was young so may just be starting out. But it was disappointing.
I took a large group to Anthony Vince Nail Spa and was very impressed. All of us were able to get pedicures at the same time, sitting together. The techs were organized, friendly, and professional. The space is inviting, clean, and didn’t smell like chemicals. Everyone’s pedicures turned out beautiful, and it turned out to be a great social hour for us to chat. I will certainly return.
