“I recently completed my CDL-A training at New England Tractor Trailer Training School in Somers, CT and had a great experience throughout the process. The instructors were knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely wanted to see students succeed. They took the time to explain maneuvers, road test expectations, and helped build confidence behind the wheel.

The staff was supportive from start to finish and always willing to answer questions or give extra guidance when needed. With the support of people like Ed, Mark, and Lenny, the experience felt personal and motivating. Their encouragement, professionalism, and willingness to help made a real difference during training.

I’m grateful for everything they did to help me pass my CDL-A road test. I highly recommend New England Tractor Trailer Training School in Somers, Connecticut to anyone serious about starting a career in trucking.“

“Andrew Kwasniewski really helped me with my first lesson. He took me onto the road for the first time and made sure I felt comfortable the whole time, since it was my first time on the main road. He taught me how to reverse park, the 3 point check and how to properly park on the left and right.“

“Taught me how to drive in a month!! My instructor David was the sweetest person i’ve met. I was afraid of being judged for never driving before, but he made me feel comfortable enough that it was okay to learn something new. I passed my road test with flying colors thanks to him, and would definitely recommend enrolling here if you need to learn quickly.“

“I have a road test on 03-01-25, and Glori has made me feel so confident in my driving skills and I was always scared to drive until Glori helped me not be scared of the road. It’s absolutely worth it to put your money into the lessons you will be guaranteed to leave with a license.“

“Had 2 instructors Shaun and Dean and they were both funny and respectful. (I'm only on my 3rd lesson so I will update this review when I'm done with all 12)

Edit: I finished all 12 lessons last year but I forgot to update this review lol. It is safe to say that all the instructors that I've had were respectful and resilient with their teachings. They taught me how to park, parallel park, 3 point turns, backup 50 feet, and best of all, prepared me for the final driving test.

On the final driving test, you hand the instructor your DMV permit paper, (The test instructor I had looked like Ted Lasso) and then they keep it for when you have to drive. Obviously, you learned the basics and you demonstrate them on the road. Im not sure but I think there are 2 people in the car during the final drivers test. Ayy but overall they were both polite and kind towards me.“
