My front door brass handleset and lock stopped working. An internet search for a new replacement, that fit the front door cut outs, turned up empty. I called these lock smiths yesterday and spoke with Charlie who told me to bring in my door lock parts and he’d meet with me and take a look first thing today at his Simsbury office. After seeing what I had, he concurred that finding a replacement that fit my door would be very unlikely, but after looking over the disassembled parts he was able to help me reassemble them and suggest a possible DIY solution.
