Solar is a process, so be aware it will be numerous steps, permits, and appointments. Within that reality, Helio was a very good company. We had numerous meetings while I requested additional options - like critter guard (oh, the squirrels) and using a hybrid inverter that would allow me to install batteries less expensively than Enphase or Tesla systems. Then, the system gets designed, then you sign off, then they do a site visit to visually inspect the roof, then permits and installations. Helio solar was all worth it due to who we work with..Doug took the time to answer all of our questions and we have alot of questions!!! but the best part of the process was that if doug didnt know something ,he would found it out and never left us unsure. We was never pushy to sell.His concern was to get us the best service and knowledge on what we were getting. The installation process was smooth and fast and very professional as well.Thank you so much again Doug.It was a great to work you !!!
Helio was a very good company from the start. I dealt with Doug who was prompt, responsive and professional throughout the entire process. A big deciding factor for me with regard to this company was the insurance that comes with the panels, call Doug and ask him about it before making your decision. It is a little bit of a lengthy process with regard to the utility company and town requirements, but Doug set reasonable expectations and handled everything that came his way. All of the employees were very respectful, particularly the electrical crew who spent some time in the house getting everything wired.
