I've suffered from chronic constipation for most of my 62 years. I have seen doctors and specialists from New York to Boston. Despite following all their recommendations, including a no wheat, high fiber, low processed food diet, with plenty of water and exercise, and all manner of herbal remedies, I have struggled to be regular. As I was being discharged post-surgery, my urologist again stressed the importance of working with a physical therapist who specialized in pelvic floor reconstructionion.“Ya right,” I thought, “good luck to me, I live in Salisbury, CT. I guarantee the nearest qualifier is going to be at least an hour away”Imagine my surprise when I found Danika’s less than twenty minutes away. Both Bente and Sabina are detail oriented professionals who care about their patients and bring a wealth of knowledge to their practice. Bente helped me with my PT after a shoulder surgery. With her help, I was able to get back to playing competitive tennis again and regain my shoulder flexibility and strength.Bente has a great understanding of body movement. As part of my treatment program, she helped me learn exercises to enhance my core flexibility, ultimately offloading pressure from my shoulder.
