Ridgefield Veterinary Center provided great care for my German Shepherd Winnie. From the moment we rescued her from Alabama, to the moment she passed due to lymphoma, Dr. Mathews, Dr. Beran and Claire provided the utmost care at every visit. Each visit they were prompt, thorough and took the time to answer any and all of our questions.

There is no place I would rather take my pups, Dr. Mathews and the rest of the staff are phenomenal! I take all three of my dogs here but more specifically I have a German Shepherd who is scared of life itself due to his previous owners and while everyone else was quick to write him off as "too aggressive" Dr. Mathews was able to see past his harsh outer shell into the soft puppy he really is. She helped him get up to date on vaccines for the first time in three years ON THE FIRST VISIT! I really can't thank her enough. Was thrilled with the care my 21 year old cat received in the hands of Dr. Mathews! I’ve never seen him so relaxed with a vet! She gave him a thorough examination, and found that he was misdiagnosed by the previous vet. A treatment plan was suggested and he is doing well. The entire staff was friendly, efficient & helpful. I am beyond happy with this practice and highly recommend this facility.
