As a commercial gym owner who joined this gym for an escape and to be able to have some "me time" away from work I can say that the new owners are doing a great job. Big Mike is constantly brainstorming ways to improve the gym. They have tanning, smoothies and a huge variety of machines and cardio. Flex is definitely more of your "bodybuilder" style of gym and there's nothing wrong with that. Don't be intimidated about coming in as the other members are welcoming, kind, and are often helping one another. They're doing a great job and I'm excited to see where they take this 30+ year gym over the coming years.

Best gym in the area. Tom the owner was a champion body builder. It's an old school gym founded I think in 1984. On the small side, but has everything you need for serious lifting. Definitely some local fitness and bodybuilding competitors here often. Funny part is they have no interest in maintaining an active website or social media presence because I think they could increase their business if they did. But it's a small town and I suppose the local population is what it is. But definitely a fantastic gym. Only bummer is I have to drive 20 miles to get there from Norwich!

I go once every 4 weeks or so and have for years. I moved away and still it's worth the drive. I have always been treated with kindness and respect and they do there best to make everyone feel comfortable and at home. The customer service is second to none.
