I recently joined the FAD Studio in Orange, CT and it is fabulous. The dance instructors are terrific and you will definitely learn so many different dances from them. I highly recommend that you come to the studio for a lesson and you will wind up joining it. The reason is you will have a great time learning to dance. The Friday night dance party is so much fun. I am having a blast.
If you are on the fence about learning a first dance for your wedding - DO IT. My husband and I took dance lessons in the weeks leading up to our wedding and it was our favorite part of wedding planning (and our wedding). We are not natural dancers, and did not tell our family or friends we were learning a dance, but this ended up being the best surprise! We we use Fred Astaire for our wedding first dance lessons and would highly recommend them. We mostly worked with Stephanie who made the experience fun, and she personalized the dance to fit our style and comfort-level with dancing. We also had some lessons with Juliette and Ned, and they were both great to work with. I also used one of the lessons for the father-daughter dance with Ned, and it was helpful to learn the basics for the song that we chose.
