Smithland Pet & Garden in Old Saybrook is my go to place for all my cat's. My cat is 18 and quite picky. She will like a food for a while and then choose not to eat it. I have no issues returning canned foods she likes one week and then chooses not to eat it the next. The staff are so friendly and Ashley is the best. She goes above and beyond to assist me whenever I am in the store. I have also purchased bird seed and garden supplies and always find what I am looking for. Ashley is amazing and Smithland is a wonderful place to shop.

The staff are all so friendly and Ashley especially is extremely helpful every time I visit the store and she is working. She goes above and beyond to assist me whenever I am in the store. I have also purchased bird seed and garden supplies and always find what I am looking for. Ashley is amazing and Smithland Pet and Garden Center is a wonderful place to shop.

Wonderful place to shop for my kitties supplies. The aisles are always full and orderly. I had a few questions about new food a couple months ago and a sweet girl named Ashley helped me pick out exactly what I needed! She was so attentive and knowledgeable regarding my kitties health concerns and made my shopping fun! I now shop at Smithland once a week and she's always there to greet me by name with a smile. I wish all stores had employees like her! Highly recommend this store for anyone who wants great service and selection for their pets (or even garden)! THANK YOU!
