“Jan Blonder, owner of Design Essence in Old Saybrook, is an absolute space and design expert. As we build our new home, she has been an invaluable resource in guiding us through important placement and scale decisions that truly impact how a home lives and feels.
Jan has an incredible eye — she sees proportions, flow, and functionality in a way that brings both beauty and intention to every space. Her guidance has helped us feel confident in choices that will serve us long-term, not just aesthetically but practically.
If you are building, renovating, or simply looking to elevate your home, I highly recommend Jan. Her expertise and thoughtful approach make all the difference.”
