“I called on a whim for a deep tissue massage (as I had a pain in my rear shoulder area for the last 2 days) and was able to get in immediately. I figured for $70 for 1 hour, it's worth a try. It's a no-frills establishment, but very zen. Soft music, oil diffusers and quiet. I was put into a room and asked to undress. Lisa, an Asian woman, came in and proceeded to give me a "towel on" rub down to loosen up the tons of pent up lactic acid in my body. That lasted about 10 mins. For a tiny woman, she had amazingly strong hands! Then off came the towel and I was in massage oil heaven! She asked if she was being too hard on me (NO!!) and told me that I had "too much stress" in my shoulder area and hips. She focused on that pain I had, and proceeded to give me pretty much, the BEST full body massage I've ever had! She ended with hot stones and a wonderful head and facial massage. I could feel my blood flowing and all the bad energy leaving through my finger tips and toes. I rested for a bit, got dressed and she gave me water telling me to hydrate. No language barrier there. I can't say enough how amazing this massage was and that shoulder pain... GONE!!!“
