We had reached out to Louis with respect to several homes, which were over 100 years old, with various issues that we had bid on (and lost), and he was very helpful in providing guidance. When we finally one, we reached out to him again. It was important to do the inspection quickly because the contact was not going to be subject to inspection, and we didn't lose the bid. He agreed to do the inspection the day after we contacted him. As we did the walk through with him, he provided a number of very helpful suggestions, but felt that the house (from the 1860s) was in very good shape. We had an excellent experience with Advant Engineering. Lou is the kind of professional who tells it like it is - and that’s exactly what you want in an engineer. It became clear right away that his level of thoroughness is far beyond what most people are used to - myself included.

We had a prior inspection done by another company when purchasing our home, and several important details were either missed or never properly documented or explained to us. Lou took the time to walk us through everything in detail, answered all of our questions, and made sure we truly understood the condition of the home and its stone foundation.
