Whomever installed the old laminate floor did a poor job- you could see gaps between the floor and staircase also between the floor and walls in a few spots- mainly in the closet and pantry. “My parents used John's services and he has been absolutely fantastic. The floorboards were delivered a little less than a week in advance of the installation, in order to let them acclimate to the humidity level and temperature of the house. Once installation was ready to begin, John and his employee Ray were there every day by 7:30am. They were delightful and chatty, polite, and clearly experts in the field of flooring. They removed the old carpet too. They worked quickly, were very communicative so my parents knew when they'd need to stay off the floor for any particular number of hours, and they cleaned everything spotlessly so there wasn't even a trace of sawdust when they left. They also rejuvenated an existing staircase made of softer wood, and though it won't hold up as well as the new hardwood they installed everywhere else, they sanded and stained it so it looks rustic and fresh. John came highly recommended by others, and now we'd recommend him highly to anyone else looking for a new floor installation or the refinishing of an old floor.Edit: I'll add a photo of the steps once the risers are repainted.“

“We recently contracted with Gene Ryone to do a complete demolition and remodeling of our small bathroom. Gene was truly unbelievable to work with from start to finish. Prompt in response, through in cost estimating (as much as a project of this type will allow ) and reliable. Walked us thru what to expect, start to finish. Arranged for plumber and electrical work. All other work was performed by Gene and his son. He is fully licensed and insured and provided documentation. Answered all of our questions before and durning the work project. Always listened to what we were thinking about the materials being selected and offered critical and much appreciated advice/insight and suggestions to consider. Throughout the project he kept us informed what work was accomplished that day and what work would be done the following day(s). We could not be happier with the total project outcome.If you are looking for only the "best/cheapest" price and care nothing about the project's outcome, do NOT select Ryone Home Improvements to do the work. However, if you want to work with an "old school" craftsman who takes pride in his work and honestly wants the job to be the best that he can deliver, and prices his work fairly, then you have found the right contractor to work with.
