Had to sue Steve Barta, owner of Wicked Good Handyman, for over $15k for poor construction work, which lead to severe water leakage. The court ordered him to pay by March 22, 2025 and he did not. Upon research, there are many complaints against Wicked Good Handyman, including other lawsuits for incompetent work.
The Better Business Bureau has been contacted so beware. He potentially may be operating without a license.

We had a terrible experience. The work on the project seemed to take forever and part way through the construction he had billed us for more than the total estimated amount for the job. He didn't seem to put up sufficient protection before working and we were left with a huge mess. When I voiced my frustration (very courteously) he had the audacity to suggested that my female hormones were to blame and asked to speak to my husband. We terminated his services and had to hire another contractor to finish the project. I was told by the second contractor we hired that, in their opinion, the work done "was done by someone who didn't know what they were doing." I suggest you do yourselves a favor (especially women) and hire someone else.
