About Rowayton Arts Center

The Rowayton Arts Center is a nonprofit cultural gem celebrating the arts through classes, exhibitions, and events open to all. For over 60 years, this gallery and art school in a perfect seaside location has provided access with educational programs, workshops, and classes for children and adults. It features a beautifully renovated space with excellent work from talented artists. The staff are lovely and helpful, offering great support for the arts community.

Taking class with Joe Fama and having a great time *really learning how to paint. Very different that paint while you drink scenarios. This is a great education. Staff are lovely and helpful.

Wonderful art center in the Fairfield County area. Frequent exhibitions of local artists, classes and demonstrations. Everyone very friendly and they do a lot to support younger artists.

A gem of an arts center on the bank of the Five Mile River! Diverse instructors and classes with monthly exhibitions year round make this a worthwhile destination. More than 300 exhibiting members guarantee interesting and engaging member exhibits and 3 juried shows a year are open to non-member artists.
