We went to Dr Sloaves with our 2 month old son because our pediatrician noticed a substantial flat spot on his head and said it was most likely due to torticollis (stiffness of the neck). Dr. Sloaves was excellent and after one month of visits with her the flat spot was gone. She also identified tongue, lip and cheek ties and recommended an excellent pediatric dentist. Dr. Sloaves always answered our questions and taught us exercises to do at home to help with his stiffness. The changes in not only our son’s head shape but his overall mood was incredible. My experience with Dr. Sloves has been incredibly personal and positive. She brings a holistic approach, showing genuine care and kindness during each session. I'm incredibly grateful for Dr. Sloves, Dr. J, and the whole staff here. My second baby had been sitting a little funny for most of my pregnancy and despite being head down at 34 weeks and assurance from my doctors that she was head down, something didn't quite feel right. I had also been experiencing a lot of back and SI/sciatica pain, so I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Sloves "just in case." I had an ultrasound and found out baby flipped herself to breech again at 37 weeks. Luckily I had the appointment booked (it was the same day that I found out she was breech) and Dr. Sloves was ready to help.
