Beside the Bethpage Black, I think this golf course is arguably the best public in the tristate area. The course is maintained beautifully. The course layout is challenging and beautiful. The view is, in some holes, breathtakingly picturesque. The green fee is rather steep, but it is totally justified.
Arguably one of the best courses in CT and it didn't let me down. Pace of play and course conditions are like a private club!! A challenge for any player but we chose to play it forward being that most of my buddies only play a handful of times a year! We had a blast...don't pass on this place.
Had an amazing Labor Day at Lake of Isles. Great service (particularly the beginning and the end of the round crew as well as the bar getting a sandwich at the turn). Course is great. Will be back.
