Patients have generally had positive experiences with the practice, praising the professionalism, courtesy, and care of the staff. The office coordinator, Emma, has been particularly commended for her excellent customer service. She promptly addressed a patient's concerns, provided reassurance, and followed up to ensure the patient's well-being. Additionally, patients have expressed satisfaction with the thorough and considerate care provided by the doctors and physician assistants. While the practice may occasionally experience staffing challenges leading to longer wait times, patients have found the overall experience to be highly satisfactory. The practice's welcoming atmosphere and the quality of the treatments, such as the "Cool Peel" and "Diamond Glow Facial," have also been praised by patients.
I recently had a cool peel, laser treatment at Dermatologist Associates of Western Connecticut. I really didn't know what to expect so when I woke up the next morning and my face was red and swollen I became very nervous something was wrong and called the office. To my surprise, Emma the office coordinator called me back right away. She spent so much time talking to me, calming me down telling me what to expect and just being a reassuring voice that everything I was going through was completely normal. I couldn't have asked for a more pleasant return phone call. On the following Monday Emma called just to make sure I did well over the weekend. Emma was so kind and made my experience with Dermatologist Associates a great one. I would highly recommend this office, Dr. Eickhorst who did an amazing Cool Peel and of course Emma.
DO not ever go to them for preventative care, even if your insurance company tells you to, even if you check weith them first, even if yiou check with them as you leave. You will get the bill, and waste hours trying to sort it out. Do not leave a credit card number wit them. Very Very disapointuing
I have found them to be professional, courteous, and caring. I’ve been a patient since 2019 when I moved to the area. They are often understaffed and that does occasionally lead to longer wait times but I can understand this.I’ve seen a few of the doctors and PA’s, and they always get me in if needed. All my appointments are thorough and considerate. My primary is Dr. Chang and I love her. She knows me, and remembers what’s happening with me.I’m grateful for her and the staff there. I’m sorry that others appear to have had bad experiences there, but I have only had good ones and wanted to balance the other reviews. I definitely recommend this practice.
