Yesterday my wife and i were referred to NMH by urgent care in Southbury. Norma received two sutures at urgent care following a sidewalk fall in Norwalk. Dr Chrissie Roberts at Physician One Urgent Care prescribed a precautionary CT scan at NMH and called ahead for the ER to expect us. PA Ben, Nurse Nina, and Radiologist Mary provided first class professional care beyond our expectations. We arrived ER at 6pm and were discharged at 8:15pm. I was even able to grab a sandwich in the closed cafeteria with an easy honor system for payment... good grilled chicken wrap sandwich, too! Sidebar: Norma is a retired RN and ex-Army MASH nurse who has worked in many US hospitals as well as in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. She knows good medicine.
