The Vault by Nicole Strachan is absolutely top-notch with a beautiful atmosphere. The salon is immaculately clean, bright, airy, and beautifully appointed. Everyone is fabulous, kind, welcoming, and warm. The staff is great, including Kayla who is highly professional, kind, and an expert at blowouts. Lindsay cuts hair perfect every single time and is super sweet. Lisa is a treasure who does an incredible job with blond highlights on stubborn hair with a gracious, fun spirit. Angie at the front desk is a pro. The owner, Nicole, is a master stylist who gives the best haircuts and does a beautiful job on invincible bead extensions. Clients always feel like a model when leaving. The whole team is warm and inviting, making it a welcoming environment. Highly recommend.
I live in Florida but travel often to NY and I needed a salon to fix my IBE hair extension / highlights. I was very nervous as I had been using the same salon in Florida for years and it's always challenging to try out a new salon. Everything from the booking with Angie through to the treatments and services I received has been amazing. I felt welcomed, listened to and understood when it comes to the result I wanted. Olivia did a great job at moving my row up and with my highlights as well. The salon is beautiful, stylish and really just overall a great vibe. I will definitely be back and it's great to know I now have a salon I can trust when traveling up north.

Jenny did a blow out for me and it was immaculate. She is precise with her work, takes her time and does the best head massages during your wash. You are in great hands here!
After coloring my hair for 30+ years I decided to go silver. I needed a change from my long, dark brown hair and my sister suggested The Vault. With out exaggeration, the owner, Nicole, gave me the best haircut of my life. She intuitively knew what I was looking for and simply nailed it! My husband and I own a pastry shop and not a day goes by without a customer commenting on my hair color/cut. I’ve given out Nicole’s name and number of the Vault more times than I can count to women of all ages. In addition, the shop is bright, airy, and beautifully appointed. Everyone there is kind and welcoming. I’m a forever customer!
