I have been skiing for decades and run a ski shop in Southbury. To say that skiing is an important aspect of my life is an understatement. The last 5/6 years I have been getting an excruciating pain in my foot which has only worsened with time. The pain was getting to the point that I was not skiing nearly as often and definitely not as aggressively. I went to see Dr. Mader who encouraged me to try a very simple solution before electing for surgery. I am thrilled to say that this simple fix was the solution and surgery was not needed. This past season, I was able to return to skiing much more often and like I use to when I was much younger.

Dr. Mader was thorough and reassuring. He did notice a slight fungus infection on my large toes and recommended a prescribed medicine to be applied twice daily. The staff is considerate and professional, making sure that you are comfortable. I would recommend Dr. Mader for any problems with your feet.
