He is trustworthy, reliable, meticulous in all aspects of inspection from roof/attic to basement and septic etc.. and provides an organized report with breakdown recommendation of repairs and pricing. Excellent experience overall. John, our inspector, remains helpful even one month post-inspection, responding quickly to emails when I have a follow-up question. I originally started the process with a different company which (seriously!) wanted to charge $1000 MORE than Hawkeye for the same services. When asked why I didn't proceed with the other company and I informed them that their outrageous pricing was the reason, I was told that I would receive very inferior service for such a reasonable price. NOT TRUE. This is professional, personal, and thorough service at a good value, much appreciated especially during the very expensive process of home-buying. John's report is detailed and extensive and we will refer to it many times. Thank you Hawkeye!
