I've been going to LiVolsi for years and Gretchen is the best. She gives great color consultation and loves to keep up with the latest trends. My natural hair color is "dishwater blonde", yet she makes my hair look natural and shiny in whatever color I ask her for. I have thin, wavy hair and she knows exactly how to work with it so I can look good when I style it on my own. The rest of the staff is friendly and welcoming. When I leave the salon, I look and feel amazing. I live in Stamford and have no problem with driving up to Hamden for an excellent cut and color that always receives compliments.

A friend bought me a gift certificate and after cajoling me to use it for a year, I finally did. That was 3 years ago and I have been a steady visitor every 5 weeks since. Cutting and coloring my hair for my entire adult lifetime (more than 40 years), LiVolsi is my favorite place thus far. The cut, the color, the attention to detail is superb.
