A huge shout-out to my instructor, Maksym. His work ethic, patience, and passion for teaching are unmatched. He pushes me to improve while still making every lesson something I genuinely look forward to. No matter how challenging a step or routine is, he keeps it encouraging, fun, and confidence-building. I started beginner lessons about a year and a half ago at Fred Astaire in Hamden. The owner, Steven creates a friendly, professional atmosphere. Weekly dance parties on Friday nights make for an ideal place to practice newly acquired skills. No partner is necessary. His staff is like family. They are highly skilled professionals in technique, have a great sense of humor, and make dancing fun. They have brought such joy in my life since I started dancing at Fred Astaire. I am truly grateful to all of them.

I highly recommend dance lessons at this studio! I wanted to do something different and fun for my dance with my son at his wedding. Neither of us had any formal dance experience, and I am particularly rhythmically challenged. Everyone at the studio was friendly, positive, and accommodating. We were especially lucky to have Andrii as our dance instructor! He is talented, professional, creative, and incredibly patient.
