Love Tommy’s staff is friendly, clean beds BUT the policy of having to cancel membership in person is silly and inconvenient. Membership renewal payments are due the 15th of each month. I called the Guilford location on the 14th to cancel, I will be away most of the next month. The employee told me I needed to come in. I explained I have stopped my membership over the phone In
The past. She called her manager who told her I would need to come in. I explained I would not be able to get there prior to closing today. Manager would not allow me to cancel.
Very poor customer service to someone who has been going to Tommy’s for over 20 years.

I used to love coming here for a spray tan when I had an event or was going to a warm place. But now I pay for the tan and come away with no color. I even did clear MAX the last few times, nothing. I thought it was my imagination so I put a sticker on my thigh this time: absolutely no difference. I called to find out why and they said they didn't know "maybe it's low". Very disappointing and a waste if money. Unfortunately I used to LOVE them but not going back anymore.

I honestly don't understand the high star ratings. My fiancé and I went here today for a quick tan and were told that we can only tan half of the time because we were first time customers? So, if max time in a bed was 12 minutes, we could only tan for 6 minutes. That makes no sense as we're already tan and I've never heard of something like that before. But, apparently it's there policy, per the employee. Secondly, there pricing is way to high. There are far better places to go tanning at significantly lower prices, with much better beds. I'm sorry, but I can't recommend to anyone.
