Hopefully not too lengthy of a post. I adopted with MKK that partners with this vet. I went in the first time and it was a little chaotic. I was told at intake that my kittens didn't have their rabies shots and that it would be required along with a vaccine check. I had no choice, asked what the cost would be as I had two that morning of my total of for. I got a text and it said $264/cat. At that point I reached out to the MKK team and was upset and felt that it should have been disclosed at adoption. We had a wonderful experience with Dr V. He's so warm and caring and listens to everything you have to say. The staff was just as caring. We're so glad we found Salmon Brook Vet!

I had an “emergency” with my rabbit, Kaiser, two weekends ago. It was not an “emergency” per se, but was to me because of a prior experience I had with another rabbit that I lost. I recently moved to the area and was about to be away on a work trip for a week. I work in the veterinary field so I know how hard it is to get appointments, let alone a last minute one. That on top of not being an established client. I explained the situation and the receptionist could not have been kinder or more understanding.
