Ray is respectful, friendly and provides great quality of service. I have had clothes cleaned, dry cleaned and my rugs cleaned (including sheepskin ones) and it’s always a splendid job. Highly recommend!
I very recently had a shared experience in reference to what I thought would have to be a zipper replacement on a sweatshirt jacket. Ray could not have been more helpful and personable. What could have cost me so much more someplace else, Ray went above and beyond, and had the patience to work on the sweatshirt himself. Turns out he did not have to replace the zipper, but took the time to work out the needed repair at a very minimal cost to me.
I highly recommend Granby Garment Cleaners and the professionalism and caring of Ray.
This business is customer oriented and honorable. The zipper on my over 30 year old L.L.Bean jacket did not work. I took it to have the zipper replaced, which is a laborious and expensive endeavor. I said I was willing to pay $55 or $65, because the jacket had sentimental value to me. The owner was not sure whether the tailor with whom he works would be willing to replace the zipper, even at that price, but he would try to find someone who would. After I left, on his own initiative, the owner replaced just the slider and the stop. He did not expect success, but thought he would try. Eureka! His experimental fix worked.
