Tired of getting people you don’t have a rapport with, people who could care less. This barber shop is very homey like in the old days. Reminds me of the one I grew up with. The owner is very positive, always a smile, and he remembers how you like it. No waiting, no nonsense. That’s really it. No nonsense. Just comfortable, like an old soft shoe. To the Tiffany lamps, to the large windows, this place is the hometown place. I travel 45 minutes to get here. Why? Because it’s consistently great, always the same. Because same is what you can count on, what you can rely on. No bells and whistles or distractions. All these corporate barbers are always marketing new gimmicks, selling themselves as “real”.
