    Called to make an appointment, the receptionist was rude and unprofessional. I was a patient of Dr. Stein but will not return with the new owners.

    I can understand why there are so many one-star reviews. Dr. Stein seems competent, but his eyeglasses are over-priced, and customer service is non-existent. They gave me a hard time about re-using my old frames, which the woman said were ready to fall apart, but were actually in very good condition, and I insisted they be re-used. They're still fine. My wife recently dropped her glasses, bought at Eyeworks, and they broke in half at the bridge. My wife called, and the woman said that there was nothing they could do; that the frames were discontinued, and that she would need to get new frames and lenses. This turned out to be false.     So I had my check up and was tolled that I need reading glasses. So I went for it. I pick out the frame and was tolled that it’s going to take 2 weeks. 2 weeks ago by I call to see if they ready was tolled that it’s going to be a couple more days. Three weeks later I call again because god for it they call me. Was tolled that they are ready. I went and got them and try ed them on but I was having trouble seeing cause of the mask and that they were getting foggy. So I come home and try them on I was having Difficult reading I had to keep what ever I was reading far way up close couldn’t see.
