This practice is a conveyor belt, get them in and out in 10 min or less. Dr Sanjay Gupta will not answer questions and is dismissive when pressed for information. I had an MRI done and it showed a labrum tear. First thing Dr Gupta said was " you will need hip replacement". No pain management, no PT, just jump to surgery. I was in pain and needed relief and a cortisone shot, was there in his office yet I was told to make an appointment and come back. My time for that appointment "was up". Then earliest next opening was a month out. After shot, I was given ZERO post procedure instructions. Dr Gupta literally administered the shot then turned and walked out of the room. I was left sitting there and unable to ask any questions. Two days later when I developed a side effect from shot ( only knew because I googled it) I called the office to leave a message about my reaction and it's been two more days and still no call back. Horrible patient care.

I was see by Dr. Torbert. While the x-ray tech and intake nurse were some of the kindest people ever my experience with the doctor was less than good. Instead of actually discussing my knee and the reason I was there he took the opportunity to tell me that one day, mind you I'm 35, one day if I need a knee replacement that my BMI of 37 was very close to 40 and if it gets over 40 I can't get a knee replacement. First off my knee is not bad enough to require an MRI so why are we discussing a hypothetical knee replacement I may need in 35 years. I'm also 6'3" and a woman with PCOS. This is an opportunity for this doctor to learn not all bodies are the same and that the BMI scale is a thing of the past. I am an All American college Athlete and at the height of my sports career I was clinically obese based on BMI. I am beyond dissatisfied with this preachy male doctor choosing to discuss a hypothetical so he can lecture about weight VS realizing I had a spinal fusion surgery very recently and am not in my best physical condition but am working my way back. He needed to show kindness and compassion and instead was rude and dismissive. I work in Inclusion Diversity and Equity and this doctor is full of micro aggressions and not a doctor you want to represent your practice if you want happy patients.

The office of Dr. Daniel Fish and Orthopaedic Specialists is an extraordinary group of doctors. Dr. Fish is personable, compassionate, and a master of his profession. I was recommended to him by a satisfied patient who had two shoulder replacement surgeries with him. Having surgery was my last option and I was very scared to even think about it. I had unresolved pain for many years after an injury. After meeting Dr. Fish, my fears were quelled and I scheduled surgery. It is now over a year since my surgery and I am pain-free! I have been pain-free since healing from the total shoulder replacement. Not only was my surgery done expertly, but the surgical scar was also done as a plastic surgeon had worked on it. If you are considering this surgery, schedule your TSR with Dr. Fish. He is superb. I am so happy I did it.
