I brought my 14 year old dog to Dr. Erickson-Greco to see if she could add to his enjoyment for the remainder of his life. He has advanced heart disease and Dr. Erickson-Greco, after examining him, told me that other than his heart condition he is in good shape and there really isn't anything she could do for him to improve his life. She had read his health records her office had requested and was knowledgable about his history and health. She was lovely and honest and I would recommend her to a friend with a pet that needed her help.
There is a reason Dr. Erickson-Greco is known for having hands of magic. She is a truly gifted and knowledgeable canine Chiropractor with impeccable bedside manner. I was referred to her office with my (then) 7 year old Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Gallagher, whom suffered disc herniation. This eventually caused neuropathy triggered by nerve impingement which would typically worsen during a flare or when out of alignment. He is now 10.5 and has appointments consistently that have been a staple in his injury management and a core part of his treatment and quality of life. He absolutely loves when he gets to see his "girls" as I call them at this practice. So much so that he whines the moment we take the right into the parking lot. I work in canine health and nutrition and and am very particular about my dog's health regimen. Having said that Dr. Erickson never once passed judgement towards me in regards to raw feeding, medications, flea and tick control status, etc. To me, that meant the world and was truly hard to come by. Dr. Erickson has a wonderful calm energy that radiates throughout the entire room - the dogs feel it. And she does not rush or subject any animals to harsh physical manipulation to achieve compliance. She is incredibly sweet, goes by the pace of the individual, and treats every dog as if they were hers up on that table. Gallagher is beyond excited to see her and just can't get enough lip licking while she's adjusting him not only in physical relief, but as thanks her as well. My dog is my life and I cannot explain the peace of mind achieved by using this practice and knowing he is in the best hands. I also cannot recommend Dr.Erickson and The Animal Health Practice of Bantam enough! A special thanks to Judy, who handles reception at this office with a smile and is always accommodating to elder dogs, and prompt in her communication. An important thanks as well to the wonderful technician, for setting my nerves aside by handling my guy in front of me with a calm touch and gentle mannerisms.
