Our schools have used this company for years. Highly disappointed in the lack of follow through this year on my daughter’s track pictures. I contacted them because her name was spelled wrong. They told me it was an easy fix and they would change it. After 3 more follow up emails with no response, it’s still not corrected and now the deadline for ordering has passed and I’m sure they don’t keep the pics. Very sad to not have this picture, their lack of response and follow through.
School photos are fairly basic, and the business model is built on volume rather than creativity. With such high volume, you’d expect pricing to be a bit more competitive.
At our kids’ schools, one child’s photos were done by Lifetime, while the other’s were taken by Studio 5. Studio 5’s most basic and economical option—a digital download—was more than 300% the cost of Lifetouch’s equivalent.
For schools considering their options, I recommend considering parents and comparing package options and pricing, and ultimately choosing Lifetouch.
I had a great experience with this company- one of my children lost the order form. I’m deployed so I was working through my husband and teacher trying to figure out the school pictures from over seas. Studio 5 responded immediately when I reached out about the issue. They helped me with my ordering - great customer service! Also, they support the military families which is always a bonus!!!
