“Last nite I lost power to nearly all the outlets in my finished basement along with half the lights. One of the outlets was buzzing/humming and felt warm to the touch -I turned off every breaker labeled basement outlets, and used an outlet tester to make sure that outlet wasn’t drawing power . I woke up at 6 AM this morning and started calling companies that advertised “24/7 emergency service” because I have a houseful of people arriving later today (it’s my B-Day) and needed the issue resolved prior to 330. 2-1/2 hours …5 different companies and the soonest appointment would have been Monday afternoon…one company was trying to book me in for Thursday next week. I was beyond annoyed/bewildered with the totally false advertising. I decided to call one more place before giving up - Conduct All Electric - the voicemail said if it was an emergency to text them so at 8:29 I did - 8:34 I got a response and at 9:07 Kolby arrived on my doorstep and by 9:37 all lights and outlets downstairs were working. Kolby showed me what had happened and why (it’s called backstabbing and ultimately the wires become loose, the electricity arcs, plastic melts, etc etc). He told me what to look out for so I can have it fixed before getting to this point. Other outlets had to be replaced a couple years ago, but that electrician only said I was lucky my house didn’t burn down so I realized today probably all the outlets were connected in this manner. I deleted the contact info for the company I’ve been using since I moved in 5 years ago and added Conduct All Electric (with a notation to ask for Kolby). Not only did he take the time to do it right, but he went the extra mile to educate me plus he’s just such an upbeat/positive person that my crappy demeanor was gone by the time he left. Yes I have a houseful of people coming soon, but the entire experience with this company from start to finish was so incredibly good that I felt the need to take the time and share my experience while it was fresh in my mind to show my appreciation for getting the job done and done right.“
