Beautiful room with an amazing view, great air conditioning, polite staff, great restaurant with yummy food and polite servers. Starbucks in reception is extremely overpriced and no drip coffee available.
This place is beautiful and offers an amazing view, but it is pretty dated and in need of updates. The room cleanliness is not a top priority as things are dusty and the bathrooms are not without stray hair, etc. The furniture is obviously old, but the beds are comfortable. The pool is nice and heated, but the facility is also very run down and the deck is dirty. The women's sauna does not work and one of the showers in the changing room is in disrepair.
All this aside, it's a decent enough getaway. I think Westin should give it some extra attention because it's beautiful, has a nice conference area, and would be a great value if it were updated a bit.
We stayed there this past week for four nights.. The personnel in the hotel are lovely and we had a Mountain View. However, the past three stays at Marriott proved that they are cheating on housekeeping. The last day our room was not cleaned. We came in at 8 PM to discover it without fresh towels, coffee, or beds made. The front desk stated they forgot our room, but there was a large new convention crowd, so it was obvious they cleaned the rooms where guest checked out that morning and left the others. The front desk manager seemed aware that this had happened. When we spend money on a hotel and a vacation, I expect better. Marriott Courtyards clean every other day....read full review
