My husband took myself and our 2 daughters here for the 2 hour ride. The owner was funny and very welcoming! Our guides were absolutely amazing. We are beginners and felt like professionals by the end of our ride. The horses are well trained and staff is well seasoned. 10/10 recommend. We look forward to coming back!

This here is the real deal! We are so grateful ☺️ This ranch is so rich with history. Incredible ride on all sorts of different terrain and views. Loved riding through the aspen and that dogs went along with us. The owner went out of his way to accommodate us. Our guide Olivia was incredible. She was full of so much love and joy for the horses and what she does. She made an already amazing experience even more memorable. They are living like cowboys in the old west out there. It was really cool to see the ranch and their way of life. The horses were so well trained and fun. My husband and I went on a 3 day pack trip into the Sangre de Cristo mountains with Bear Basin. We had a wonderful adventure and learned SO MUCH about packing. Mike’s cooking was incredible. I highly recommend taking a trip with Bear Basin - very professionally done and a great time!
